Poetic Exploration of the Heart

Memoryproof

Memoryproof

the wind folds branches of trees
traffic lights change
cars stop people walk

i watch through the window
erupting with rain drops
yet like a silent movie
from stillness, from quiet
of a vacant home

antique wall clock sounds rhythmically
it doesn’t bother me
I don’t hear it

if only I could block out
unwanted memories
in the same way
