Your words
Dance in the shadow of my heart
Like tiny particles of light
Glimmering, fading, vanishing,
Flawless in their translucence,
Scattering, flimsy, weightless,
Sparse, and lacking in puissance.
Your words
Monochrome and odorless
Stare at me like a screen
Sterilized and disinfected,
Polished to perfection,
Giving away only
A glimpse of my own reflection.
Your words
Like tasteless food offered
For the ravenous to devour.
Free of nourishment or flavor,
To be served for dinner galore
With the luring music of Satyr’s flute
Heard too many times before.
One thought on “Your Words”
I didn´t speak
I just stood up silence
There are no more real words in my mouth
None to reach your ear
They are all written in the sky
I embrace the Skye
And you in it
And the Skye in you
